Arghya stands as a symbolic homage to the rich heritage of Indian classical music and fine arts in all forms.
Arghya is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians and artists by providing a platform for both upcoming talents and newly initiated students to showcase their skills. By fostering an environment of growth, mentorship, and collaboration, Arghya aims to uphold the tradition of Indian classical art forms while embracing innovation and creativity.

Arghya- A foundation, aims to provide a platform that uplifts the whole ambience of Indian classical art forms and its performance while exploring innovative and aesthetic forms of presentation, bringing a new vibrancy and excitement to the genre. It seeks to bring together connoisseurs of classical music and fine art to the new learners and also the uninitiated; thereby making it accessible to a wide audience. The foundation is committed to celebrate the upcoming generation of musicians and artists to showcase their art and the newly initiated students to perform alongside the promising artists and receive valuable guidance from them.
Pillars of Arghya
Arghya owes its existence to the vision and dedication of its founding members:

Hema Subramanian
Is an educationist and English language facilitator, Hema Subramanian contributes her wealth of teaching experience to Arghya. With a passion for storytelling, poetry, and music, she enriches the festival with her organizational skills and artistic sensibilities.

Piyali Guha
An anthropologist, artist, and lover of all forms of art, Piyali Guha brings her creative expertise to Arghya. With a background in lectureship and a penchant for the sitar and singing, she adds a unique perspective to the festival's creative endeavors.

Sarang Vechalekar
An acclaimed sitarist and disciple of Pandit Ravi Chary, Sarang Vechalekar is a driving force behind Arghya. With a passion for classical and fusion music, he has performed nationally and internationally, imparting his knowledge to students through "Swar Sanskruti Music Academy" and "Shree Kala- Vidya Sansthanam."
